VRG : Email mailing-list Blocking

On 30 January 2006, ECE staff installed a mail filter (milter-regex) on our mail servers to prevent outsiders from sending e-mail to our local mailing-lists. Here are some interesting statistics:
- put into "production" on mail server: 23 January 2006 09:50
- first message caught: 23 January 2006 10:32
- most caught in one day (since installation): 123
- most caught in one day (last two weeks): 10
- total caught since installation: 7467
- total caught today (since Saturday at 03:30): 24

Here's a plot of the data for the last 14 days, updated automatically at about 45 minutes past every hour (unless a manual update is done).
